A home for young people with autism: dayprogramsor residential.

It is often difficult to find a place in society for young people with autism. Papageno Huis was established to give them a helping hand and something on which to build. Young people with autism can visit the centerfor activitiesandday and work experience programs. There are also apartments in the house where 12 young people learn how to live independently.

Papageno Huis is located in the former Villa Dennenoord at Naarderstraat 77 in Laren. This charmingvilla, built in 1870, was furnished and equipped in such a way that young people with autism can feel totally at ease. From the colors tothe lighting, the air conditioning, and the soundproofceiling – thought has been given to everything.

Collaboration with ‘s Heeren Loo

The staff at Papageno Huis isresponsible for managing the villa. They organizeeverything needed to be able to help the young people at Papageno Huis. For professional care, we work closely with ’s Heeren Loo Zorggroep.

A close team of carers works at the house24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We can also count on a large group of volunteers, who are essential for the many activities and events, but also for supporting the young people if, for example, they want to go grocery shopping.
